Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd.’s cloud migration journey began with the knowledge that purchasing a vehicle is a big decision — one that requires trust between a salesperson and potential buyer. The entire process must run smoothly to provide a positive customer experience.

Mitsubishi Australia is a division of the global Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. The organization has hundreds of dealer sites, and sells and services a wide variety of Mitsubishi vehicles. To accommodate ongoing business growth and peak sales times, Mitsubishi needed a scalable infrastructure. By using cloud migration services to move SAP applications to the cloud, Mitsubishi found the scalability it was searching for.

Cloud migration provides automatic scaling

Mitsubishi migrated 200 of its Australian dealers to the SAP cloud solution, which supports many core business processes and includes enterprise resource planning, enterprise warehouse and CRM applications.

The environment scales automatically and simplifies administration by:

  • Supporting 3,000 users.
  • Reducing administration time — salespeople can access the system from the sales floor.
  • Providing added capacity for high-volume activity.
