Client spotlight: Mitsubishi Australia matches growth with cloud migration

By: Erin Poole

Dealers like Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd. know that purchasing a vehicle is a big decision that requires trust between a salesperson and potential buyer. The entire process must run smoothly to provide a positive customer experience.

To accommodate business growth and peak sales times, Mitsubishi needed a scalable infrastructure. It achieved this by using cloud migration services to move SAP applications to the cloud.

Mitsubishi Australia is a division of the global Mitsubishi Motors Corporation. The organization has hundreds of dealer sites, and sells and services a variety of Mitsubishi vehicles.

Cloud migration provides automatic scaling

Mitsubishi migrated 200 of its Australian dealers to the SAP cloud solution, which supports many core business processes and includes enterprise resource planning, enterprise warehouse and CRM applications.

Their environment scales automatically and simplifies administration:

  • Solution supports 3,000 users
  • Reduced administration time — salespeople can access the system quickly from the sales floor
  • Added capacity for high-volume activity
